Who runs LinkHub
LinkHub is a personal project, run by an individual for a small circle of people. That person is responsible for your data.
A contact address will be published here before LinkHub opens to more people.
What is stored and why
- Your Google account email, name and account identifier: to let you sign in, to check the invitation list, so others can share collections with you, and to show who owns a collection.
- The collections and links you save. They may include personal data if you choose to save it.
- Who can see each collection and with which role. The people a collection is shared with, and those who can share it, see your name and email.
- How many times each link has been opened, counted per link and not per person.
- Server logs with IP addresses, to keep the service secure.
LinkHub does not store your Google profile photo, phone number or any other data from your Google account. There is no analytics and no advertising.
How long it is kept
Your data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account removes your name and email. Server logs are deleted after about a month. Backups are renewed every 30 days, so deleted data disappears from them within 30 days.
Who else is involved
Google handles sign-in. The hosting provider runs the server in the European Union and processes the data on behalf of LinkHub. Your data is not sold or shared with anyone else.
Cookies
LinkHub uses a single technical cookie to keep you signed in. It is needed for the service to work, so it does not require consent.
Your rights
You can see and edit all your content in LinkHub, and delete your account from the app at any time. Your email comes from Google; you can change your name on your Account page. To receive a copy of your data, or for any other request about your data, write to the contact above.
